LaFayette Engineering offers several areas of controls support to our customers. We realize that today’s manufacturing and distribution of merchandise are not the same as they were a few years ago. With the ever-growing demand of “Online” shopping, distribution centers need to operate more efficiently and get the product to customers quickly. Our goal is to provide a quick response and solution to the problem in question so that the facility’s downtime is kept to a minimum.
Types of Support
When a “New” system is installed, or an area of the facility is upgraded we provide a 24/7 support to the customer for the area of work that was performed.
Normal support is provided during normal working hours (8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (EST) based on a 5-day work week Monday thru Friday. Holidays are not included in normal support hours.
Extended support is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This includes support on holidays.
Our team can provide phone support or can connect directly to the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), provided some sort of VPN connection has been set up. After hours support for Extended and Warranty issues are taken by the call center which gets your information and a brief description of the problem. That information is relayed to the person on Primary support call which will return your call as quickly as possible. Life cycle schedules and preventative maintenance plans to ensure our customer’s investments are maximized and the software is running efficiently.
Our support team is available 24/7 equipped with remote access to identify, troubleshoot, and respond to any issues.
